Tradvolt › Process & SOP › Warranty Failure-Analysis Report SOP — CN→EC (LFP BESS)
Scope: LFP (lithium iron phosphate) BESS (battery energy storage system) equipment and replacement parts shipped from China to Ecuador under a Tradvolt warranty. Document type: Standard Operating Procedure (Process / SOP). Vertical: LFP BESS.
Decision / verdict: This SOP closes a warranty RMA for an in-scope LFP BESS unit in an internal target of approximately 14 calendar days from buyer claim intake (D0) to RMA closure (D14), contingent on (a) a live HS/duty lookup at the Servicio Nacional de Aduana del Ecuador (SENAE) portal on the day of declaration, and (b) on-time return transit under the named ICC Incoterms 2020 rule. The 14-day figure is an internal SLA target, not a public contractual figure; it is bounded by the diagnostics window (Steps 5–6), the FAR internal review (Step 8), and the CN→EC re-shipment + EC customs clearance window (Steps 10–11). The route is China → Ecuador with a diagnostic stop at the CN service centre, so elapsed time is driven by diagnostics on the inbound leg and by Incoterms 2020 + SENAE customs on the outbound leg.
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Decision / verdict | Close warranty RMA in ~14 calendar days (internal SLA, not a sourced public figure) |
| Equipment in scope | LFP BESS equipment and replacement parts (see in-scope model families) |
| Location / corridor | China (CN) → Ecuador (EC), with diagnostic stop at CN service centre |
| Horizon | D0 (claim intake) → D14 (RMA close), indicative |
| Evidence date | 2026-09-22 |
| Limitation | HS codes and EC duty rates are PENDING until a live SENAE query is performed on the day of declaration; the 14-day target is an internal SLA, not a published public figure. |
Hard numbers and certification references in this document are sourced exclusively from allow-listed publications (OEM product pages / datasheets, IEC / UL standards, ISO standards, ICC Incoterms 2020, IATA DGR, UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, FIATA documents, and official customs portals).

If the RMA concerns a model family outside this table, scope it under the Generic-LFP clause below and confirm model-specific acceptance criteria against the OEM service manual at intake.
Generic-LFP clause (out-of-table families): For any LFP BESS equipment supplied by Tradvolt that is not named in the table above, the SOP steps still apply. Torque values, SOC windows, DC voltage limits, and acceptance criteria are taken from the OEM service manual shipped with that specific unit; the Warranty Desk must attach the manual revision to the RMA file at intake.
