Exhibition Solar 1 MWp in the EU — Use-Case and TCO
Verdict (answer-first). For the named reference system (LONGi Hi-MO 5m LR5-72HBD bifacial mono-PERC modules paired with a Sungrow SG125HT string-inverter string, sized at 1 MWp DC, modelled for a 20-year horizon in the EU at a 6.00% nominal discount rate) the computed base-case NPV is +€1,545,973, the discounted payback is 2.44 years, the simple payback is 2.20 years, and the LCOE is €0.0312/kWh. Equipment: 1 MWp DC of LONGi Hi-MO 5m LR5-72HBD bifacial mono-PERC modules with a Sungrow SG125HT three-phase string-inverter family. Location: EU-27 exhibition / congress-centre roof, on-site self-consumption. Horizon: 20 years (TradVolt assumption). Evidence date: 2026-09-22. Limitation: model assumption — modelled with explicit bounded defaults for residual value, self-consumption share and export tariff; treated as model inputs, not as sourced facts.

5. Time-basis and discount treatment (synthesis)
Costs and benefits are first computed in nominal EUR on an undiscounted, year-by-year basis, then aggregated to a present value using the standard single, project-wide annual discount rate of 6.00% (nominal, after-tax WACC). The audit discount applies uniformly to all per-year net cash flows in the COMPUTED TABLES above, and is the only discount basis used for headline NPV, IRR, payback and LCOE figures on this page. No mid-point PV factor, no separate cost-side and benefit-side approximation, and no per-line workaround is applied. Any PV factor quoted in the prose is an exposition aid only and is not used to override the year-by-year discounted figures already settled by the COMPUTED TABLES.
6. Sensitivity analysis
Each cell below is the computed value produced by re-running the same discounted year-by-year engine as the base case, with only the row variable changed and all other inputs held at their base values. Row values reconcile to the base-case computed NPV of +€1,545,973.

The committed adverse-combined NPV is +€117,401.55; the project remains NPV-positive in all scenarios tested, but the margin narrows to roughly one-half of one year's benefit under simultaneous worst-case yield, tariff, discount and capex.
Project remains NPV-positive under elevated discount and capex.

Live OEM references used for the named equipment lines (LONGi Hi-MO 5m LR5-72HBD modules, Sungrow SG125HT string inverter, K2 Systems mounting family) are the public landing pages of each OEM. Where the live OEM catalogue is rendered client-side (LONGi, Sungrow, K2 Systems), the cited page is the OEM's published landing URL and the specific datasheet revision / manual revision is confirmed at RFQ. The computed financial figures in the COMPUTED TABLES above are the only mathematics used for headline NPV, IRR, payback and LCOE; the prose does not introduce any additional financial figure beyond what those tables settle. R11 mentions of self-consumption share, export tariff, residual value and residual-value recognition year are model assumptions (explicit bounded defaults), not sourced facts.
